Brett Sizeland ASCC
– Strength & Conditioning Coach / Director
Brett is a Strength & Conditioning Coach /and Director of ConceptFitness
UK who has worked in the health & fitness industry since the age of
18. Brett has worked with many different clients and their presenting
needs over the years. These range from professional athletes (Castleford
Tigers RLFC, Coventry City FC) to individual clients on varying programmes
of exercise. Brett is an accredited strength & conditioning coach
and works with athletes of all levels. He is also the lead S&C coach
for the MMA Clinic pro fight team. Brett is also a professional MMA fighter.
Keir Williams
– CrossFit coach & EKI Kettlebell master instructor
/ Director
Keir is a trainer with a passion for strength training and has worked
with many clients in the field of sports conditioning. This includes many
football teams & professional mixed martial artists. Keir is also
the resident Kettlebell & Olympic weightlifting expert, and brings
a new school of thought to many of the clients he trains..
Andy Newall PT & Thai Boxing Instructor
Andy is an accomplished Thai boxer and personal trainer. Since his early
teens he has trained and fought all over the world under the guidance
of Arjan Tony Moore at Sitsiam Camp in Manchester and under Arjan Takoon
Pongsupz and the late Chani Pongsupa at the world famous Sasiprapa Gym
in Bangkok Thailand where he lived and fought in many stadiums including
the prestigious Rajademnern Stadium. He was crowned BTBC British Lightweight
Champion in 2000 and fought 3 times in the World Amateur Games. In his
fighting career Andy has fought such luminaries as Nong Toom and Eh Phutong.
Andy has trained many future fighters and is an accomplished pad man.
His experience qualifies him to teach Thai Boxing at an advanced, intermediate
and beginner level. Andy is a fully qualified NVQ Level 3 personal trainer,
who is renowned for pushing his clients hard in order for them to reach
their goals.
Ryan Martin NASM Strength
& Conditioning Coach & Personal Trainer
Ever since Ryan became involved in sport at a professional level he has
taken the conditioning and nutritional side very seriously. Having completed
his Sports Science Degree at UWE he spent the next few years playing professionally
with Nottingham Rugby. However, the biggest influence in on Ryan in the
area of Strength and Conditioning was when he was lucky enough to be presented
with the chance to play a season in Canterbury, New Zealand and join the
Province’s Academy. Working closely with the Canterbury Crusaders conditioners
gave Ryan an insight into the very top level of sports performance. Although
Ryan has a rugby background his clients range from aspiring GB hockey
players and MCC cricketers to lawyers and full time Mothers and he is
always prepared to go the extra mile for his clients.
Ben Hajir – Personal
Trainer & Pad Box Instructor
Ben has been with Concept Fitness UK since its opening and is an enthusiastic
trainer who has experience with clients of all ages and fitness levels.
Ben loves to train in many different ways himself with a keen interest
in CrossFit and this translates into his flexibility as a trainer. Bens'
specialty is pad-work; he has even spent time abroad to improve his skills
as a student and teacher. Ben has completed the Pad Box (boxing with pads)
course and is an official instructor. Ben is also a Professional Mixed
Martial Artist.
Tanya Hurley – Personal
Trainer
Tanya has always had a passion for exercise. Tanya specialises in functional
training and pre/post natal exercise working with many different clients
across many age spectrums. Tanya is also a qualified TRX suspension instructor,
Kettle bell trainer and Pad-box instructor.
Michelle Roughan– Body
Control Pilates Instructor
Michelle works with clients of all ages and fitness levels, encouraging
correct movement patterns and core strength throughout the body to optimise
flexibility and stability. Michelle also works with people who require
specific rehabilitation work from injury, working closely with physiotherapists
and osteopaths ensuring their needs are met to regain full health. Michelle
also specialises in post operation sufferers of breast cancer.
Joe O'Connor– Physiotherapist
Joe is our consultant physio at Concept. His forward thinking holistic
approach to rehabilitation fits well with our approach to functional training.
Joe has treated a range of clients form elite athletes to elderly clients.
